I'm looking for 3 crew members for two Regattas. The first regatta is Western Regionals hosted by Berkeley Yacht Club & Fleet 17 in Berkeley CA Sept 19th - 20th. I will be showing up two days early to get the boat all rigged up I would like to practice some on Friday the 18th to get use to each other's style. Want to know more about this event check the web site out http://j24westernregionals.com/ The second Regatta where I'm looking for crew is J/24 2009 National Championship hosted by San Francisco Yacht Club Belvedere CA Sept 23rd - 27th. From Sept 23rd - 24th is Registration, Weigh–in and Measurement, I'm going to get the boat Measured in on the 23rd so we could at lest have one day or even two days of practice in if the measuring is quick and fast. Want to know more about this event check the web site out http://j24nationals2009.com/ What crew positions I'm looking to fill are Jib / Spinn trimmer, the person who is trimming jib will also be flying the kite but if it's blowing and they might get spent the pit / spinn trimmer could switch to keep fresh arms in the game. Someone who has Lots of experience in this field is a big ++ Looking for a pit man / Spinn Trimmer Looking for a Tactician someone to be the eyes on the course / boat, conversing with me about the calls we would be making and being floater on the boat.. I know I'm asking a lot in a short amount of time and it's a long shot but if there is any one out there that wants to race just let me know.. The housing will be all paid for by me so no worries there. Getting to San Fran you will have to make arrangements on your own unless you live near Newport Beach then I can give you a lift up there no problem, or might if not too far out of the way pick you up on the way up. Little about the boat it's a 1985 sail number 4139 it has a new non skid deck put on so nice, a new paint job dun on it and is in the process of having a new epoxy bottom put on. It has a New Proctor Mast, New Proctor Boom, New Proctor Spinn pole, New Run rigging with Ronstan turn buckles. Sails has a New set of North SD sails the Main has Been used in two regattas, the Genoa has been used in two regattas, the Spinn has been used in Three Regattas and the Jib/Blade has Never been used still crispy. So let me know..
