Taking the second stage of the Italian J/24 Cup was the multiple Italian J/24 Champion: Ignazio Bonanno and his Italian Navy crew on LA SUPERBA. Second went to Francesco Nucara’s RABBIT, while third place was Pierluigi Puthod’s BRUSCHETTA. The opening race was won by ITA 432 KASTER (Giuliano Cattarozzi), and the winner of the sixth and seventh races was Italian J/24 Class President Pietro Diamanti’s JAMAICA. This regatta featured 16 teams. Four races were completed on Friday (characterized by little wind and waves) and four more races on Sunday (with stronger winds and bigger waves).
